CURRENT AWARENESS SERVICE (CAS)

Under the Current awareness service AHKRC provides information with regard to the availability of new books and material on various subjects to the member of the library.

SELECTIVE DISSEMINATION OF SERVICE (SDI)

This is the service provide by AHKRC on the basis of selected information according to the need of the member of Library.

DOCUMENTARY DELIVERY SERVICE (DDS)

Introduction:

AHK Resource Center is endeavoring to provide the latest information services to the users. Keeping in view the fact that many of our users are at remote places, we are going to introduce a new service i.e. DDS to provide the documents on their computers or at the doorstep.

Through this service, we will provide the lists of books/reports available at AHKRC. Users can select the documents of their interest and inform AHKRC. We will analyze their requirements and will provide them the material through one of the following means:

Scanned copies through E-mail
Copies through FAX
Photocopies of material through post (VPP)

Terms and Conditions:

The name of service is Document Delivery Service (DDS)

Only current members of AHKRC will be the beneficiaries of this service

No more than 30 pages will be sent through DDS, particularly so as not to violate copyright laws.

Request will be entertained in three working.

Photocopying fee will be Re. 1 per page

Photocopies will be sent through VPP

If some user fails to receive VPP, the membership will be suspended. The member will have has to pay a fine of Rs. 100+ VPP charges to activate the membership again.

Any material which is protected under copyright act will not be sent through DDS
