IRM Trained participant secures 1st position at the Provincial Skills Competition organized by NACTTC:
In order to encourage and motivate youth of Pakistan to acquire skills and training in Technical & Vocational domains, National Vocational & Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) organized a “Provincial Skills Competition” on November 26, 2016 at Marriot Hotel, Karachi in which Major General Bilal Akbar (DG Rangers-Sindh) was the chief guest of the ceremony. In this competition, hundreds of trainees from different TVET Institutes (Private & Public sector) participated with enthusiasm and exhibited their skills in 10 diversified trades including plumbing, general electrician, industrial electrician, welding, beautician, fashion designing/dress making, civil surveyor, quantity surveyor, auto-cad and graphic designing.
Mr. Sajan Ali a participant trained at the VTEC IRM-Sindh participated in the provincial skills competition of General Electrician Trade and got first position with a cash prize of Rs. 75,000. He was also the winner of Zonal Skills Competition with the cash prize of Rs. 25,000. Mr. Sajan Ali expressed his happiness and offered his gratitude to VTEC IRM-Sindh for their support and mentorship. He said that youth from the province should acquire technical and vocational skill and take full advantage of institutes like VTEC IRM-Sindh which offer a wide range of courses under excellent supervision.
