The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Pakistan and the Institute of Rural Management (IRM) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for conducting training events on water, health and sanitation (WASH) for mobilizing the community based organizations and public to promote clean and green environment for better health and sustainable development. The capacity building sessions will be launched in 25 rural areas of Tehsil Phalia of District Mandi Bahauddin, Punjab. KOICA has established clean drinking water facilities worth USD 4 million to provide safe drinking water to 80,000 people in the rural villages of Phalia.
