15-Day Orientation Training Workshop (OTW) offers highly interactive learning environment for the participants to learn the basic concepts of social mobilization, Participatory Development, Conceptual and Programme packages of Rural Support Programmes and interpersonal skills with field orientation.
The workshop aims to develop a strong diversified team of community development practitioners capable of dealing with the field realities of Pakistani rural areas.

Methodology
The combination of methods including interactive lectures, role plays, group discussions, pictorial handouts, documentary review technique, brain storming, case studies, practical exercises and rigorous group work makes the OTW distinctive.
Field Training:
Two days field training is an integral part of OTW which provides the trainees with an opportunity to interact with the people of poor rural communities thus giving them an opportunity to observe the proceedings of CO meetings and learn from the experiences of the field staff.

It is designed for the new recruits coming from the regions and districts of RSPs as well as Civil Society Organizations and researchers of Rural Development, Social Mobilization and Participatory Development.
